Meet Our Team

Rachel Morris is a classically-trained vocalist who teaches privately and has performed across the country. She made her symphonic debut with the Buffalo Philharmonic singing the role of Bastienne in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne. She previously performed two seasons with the Ohio Light Opera Company. She has enjoyed performances with Utah Symphony, Utah Opera, Chamber Orchestra Ogden, Utah Oratorio Society, and with various other orchestras and organizations. Rachel has a deep love for oratorio and concert work and often soloed with the Cathedral of the Madeleine Choir in Salt Lake City, performing works such as Bach’s Magnificat, Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, Bach’s St. John Passion and Monteverdi’s Vespers. She also performed there in the role of Mary Magdalene in a new, staged production of The Pilgrim, by Richard Proulx. She also joined the Chamber Orchestra Ogden as soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. In 2021 she worked on a virtual recording project with BYU-Hawaii choirs, singers from all over the world, and director and childhood friend, Erica Glenn, singing Ēriks Ešenvalds’ “Only in Sleep.” She was awarded the “President’s Choice Award” from the Utah chapter of Institute for Architecture and Art for her contribution in vocal performance and teaching in Utah. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Eastman School of Music, and a Master of Music degree from the University of Utah. She is a Mom who has home-schooled for over 15 years. Rachel is married to Arthur, and they have 5 amazing daughters.
